One of the most popular booths was undoubtedly the Batik Dyeing booth, which Xiuting managed, along with other Fine Arts students like Ronald. People came by, created their very own pieces and left them to dry on a makeshift rack (made by stacking clear acrylic sheets on top of plastic containers) and came back to collect them later on in the day.
The bookbinding and stamping booths received an audience that was cosy, and I'd say, the more daring of the lot, since most of them shy away from the table where crafters gathered to make books/envelopes at their own pace.
We were happy to see Crystal, Sharon and Pinpin from Sikkim Go! 2011 at the LASALLE Open House, as well as Weijian from Team Vidyalay 2010, who came by to see our works as well as participate in the demo sessions.
